Suzuki 2.5

just got a suzuki 2.5 yesterday and going to try it out tomorrow.

Got exactly the same ! ( second one as 1st was nicked) - great little thing....

Is it as an aux for the 4.5 ? Interested to know if yes how you get on as I could use mine on the rib ...

I mounted it on the back of the jockey console and made sure it was secure. Then if needed I would mount it on the transom and tilt the main engine up.

That's what I'm planning to do. Used to have my Tohatsu 3.5hp mounted on the transom of my Zodiac Pro and I was never happy with it, even if it was secured while underway. Got any pictures? Do you have a steel plate or rubber mount on the deck for the skeg to sit in?

Is this the kinda thing you mean, but on a jockey back? That one is designed for a saildrive, so quite tall.

I dunno, but I reckon that bloke 'round the back makes 'em, he's Legend at stainless. Last day I was in, he was making flared stainless rodholders. I mean, you wouldn't know whether to stand a rod in it or join an Orchestra....
