Any recommendations for down in North Wales? I'm wanting to try and get the 100hr service done in October before I bring her back to Yorkshire for the winter. I know Tony mentioned somebody in Pwehli (spelling?)

I use "Mobile Marine" nr Lyme who has always been Brilliant for many years ....(The Clue is in the name)
He started off from the back of a Transit Van over 25 yrs ago...quickly built the business and now has Large premises and several employees, sells more outboards than most other dealers...is multi franchised and does very well!...
Seems to me there maybe considerable scope for a similar mobile operation in various parts!

Cameron and Aaron do great work at reasonable rates and aren't bull$hit merchants.
Can't fault them & given the shocking service I had from pennine marine personally wouldn't risk my gear to anybody else.
now that is a round trip for a service!

i can't say any different, cracking place and where mine goes too....although way less than 400 miles

Sounds crackers I know but I spend 50 weeks of the year looking forward to two weeks of Kintyre/boat/fishing I don't want to risk having a disaster when we're up there.
It's surprisingly difficult to find anyone reliable anywhere within a 100 miles so there's not a lot of option. Tied it in with my trip up to the Brora in June this year and it was ready when I came back. The only downside was I took the Sorento rather than the Ceed estate so fuel was exactly double... lol

I've heard good reports for harbour marine Pwllheli. A few of lads from our caravan site use harbour marine for there engine repairs & service. Obviously not on your doorstep but could tie it in with a stay in Pwllheli/Abersoch
