Suzuki DF250 Vs Yamaha F250

I recently purchase a 7.5 RIB which weighs 545kg Dry with no motor.

The boat has a 300l tank and a 100l fresh water tank. So i assume with a motor and loaded tanks with 5 people it will weight around 1645kg.

I live in China and am curious if anyone knows which motor option would be best.

The options i am looking at are:

Suzuki DF250
Yamaha F250

I would like a Mercury verado 250 but these are almost 40% higher in cost.

I will mainly be using the boat to go out fishing, some occasional wakeboarding, towing inflatable toys and so on.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your help

Warranty is important, take the one with best warranty in China? I could go for both... If your boat can have 300, go for suz 300.

I wouldnt mind a 300, the only issue is that they have never sold on here before so i am a little worried about the service.

warranty here is a joke. Both companies offer 6 months.

Both great engines - also look at the Evinrude Etec250 and the Optimax 250 or 300.
