Suzuki DF6A What's in the box?

Hi all, three questions for you knowledgable people:
  • Please could someone confirm what is included with a new Suzuki outboard out of the box? I've seen a YouTube unboxing which has: owners manual and warrantee docs, kill cord, pouch with some tools and emergency starting cord, and a bottle of engine oil. But perhaps the oil was thrown in by the dealer? And I'm not expecting the threaded hose pipe adapter thingy for flushing out?
  • Is a Tachometer worth buying for an outboard from the outset or something to worry about down the line? Would be looking at the SEARON version on Amazon at £19, purely for speed of delivery...
  • I'd like an external fuel tank with capacity for a full day's boating. Research suggests 12L will be absolutely fine for a 6hp traveling modest distances (think a day spent exploring Ullswater), is this correct?

Thanks all in advance!

Ask the dealer

imo it's only handy whilst matching a prop to your boat

I have an Orkney Longliner with a Yamaha 6hp and 12 litre tank, in a full day of trolling and zipping about I probably won't use half of it.

Thanks A1an, I'm going to look at an ex demo but would like to know what should be coming with it.

with your 6hp, are you referring to half the 1L internal or 12L external tank?
