Hi all,

hope you are well, looking for a cheapish 15hp short shaft, this has come up locally, any thoughts on if its a decent engine or better to spend a little more and get something newer?

any advice would be great, its to go on a 3.5m Honwave.

Kind regards

Neil

Hi Neil and welcome to the forum.

I've had a couple of that era Suzuki and they were basic but decent motors. However now they are quite old so electrical failure, seized/broken bolts and other such age related failures would not be a surprise.

But if it gets you on the water for 40% of a newer 2-stroke 15hp then it might suit??
