Tachometer for Mercury Outboard

I would like to get a tachometer for my 1999 Mercury outboard. It is a 25 HP 4-stroke "Bigfoot" and is on my Bombard C4. There is an unused wiring plug that is hanging under the controls, if memory serves this is to hook up a tachometer?

Does anyone know if any-old aftermarket tach will work, and if so is there a model that has worked well for people? I am thinking just a simple analog tachometer.

Thanks for any input!

I'm fairly sure that I found the right wiring harness:
http://www.amazon.com/Mercury-Quicks.../dp/B004QJLGUO

Now my only question is which tachometer?

They seem to range from $50-$100. Obviously if there is a really nice one for less money that would be nice, or is it worthwhile to spend a little more?

Also, some say they only work with 4/6/8-cylinder engines, and mine is a two-cylinder.

Thanks.
