Tarnished stainless prop

Does anyone have any good tips for cleaning my ss mercury prop, please?

It's just tarnished and needs a good clean, the boat's only out of the water for the weekend and then not until about August.

The best recommendations I can find are scotchbrite or brasso - any other ideas gratefully accepted!

Thanks chaps, that's great.

I can't believe that I forgot about autosol......if you want to spend your late teens cleaning your pride and joy ford cortina, it's indispensable!

I'll get to Halfords in the morning and try it. Cheers

Chrome Bumpers.... and Trims!....Those were the days!

Just Sold a 1971 Triumph Herald Convertable....You DO easily forget just how totally atrocious and Badly made/engineered some of the old Cars were though!
Partially made up by the fact you could fix em with a piece of string and a Pen Knife!

Good job. Is that just with the Autosol? Reckon you've squeezed another 1hp out of that now it's polished!

I know - it's a sad, sad situation!
That was however, just the Autosol and about half an hour.
