Wraped Port saddle images
Attached are photos of where the port saddle/ stern bracket wraped. If you were looking from the stern to the Bow, The saddle warped with an anti clockwise twist near the tilt tube. These images are taken from the top looking down onto the saddle

TSM is it possible that the tilt tube has sheared (as it looks like it in the picture) and that this allowed the engine to twist snapping the bracket ?

Hi Chris
The tilt tube is fine. I pulled it yesterday to check if it was wraped/ twisted. I have the tilt tube pulled back into the housing to laoow for an alignment check.

The raising ofthe transom
Photos show how I raised the transom. Used a lump of teak, screwed it down and sikaflexed it to the transom, Then glassed it in place.
