I would go for one 275hp, and a 15HP Aux. you can get a new Tohatsu 15hp for £1200 (http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/EML135). That is unless your dead set on having a twin engine set up.

regards,
Alex

A pair of Yamaha 150 but you are back to the fuel thing
We have a single 250 f/stroke and in the real world it will do a 1&1/2 liters a mile at 35 knots 49 knots flat out that figuer is by filling the tank to the brim and divding the miles from the gps when we have refilled with a 23 inch S/S prop. I am just not a Verado man heavy engine heavy on fuel.
E.tec people tend to forget that at full tilt your using 1 lt of 2 stroke oil an hour. And i dont care what every body says when you want to sell them the Yamahas are always worth more second hand.

The other thing to consider is that the 150 Verado has the regular saddle and the larger models have the Verado type saddle with integrated steering ...........
