Throttle Cables

I’m hoping for some help finding suitable replacement engine and gearbox control cables. The current cables – one of which has gone very stiff* – are marked:

“Ultraflex C2 Ft16 231”

(And are indeed 16 feet long). My searches haven’t come across anything definitive, but I’m beginning to suspect that type C2 is interchangeable with C8, and that C8 is interchangeable with ‘morse’ type 33c cables – and the latter seem to be more readily available, at least to this Internet purchaser. (I can’t imagine that anywhere easily local will have stuff that I can look at to compare).

Any help on understanding the actual differences between the three types above would be much appreciated. Has anyone come across any detailed on-line brochures or catalogues etc? If all else fails I'll be taking the risk of trying the more expensive 33c nylon-coated-steel in nylon type from Gael Force.

Suzuki DF90 with Suzuki side mount throttle box if that helps.

*and yes this is definitely a cable problem not e.g. the gear linkage.
