Tilt stop lever sloppy Yamaha 60hp FETO

Hello All

The tilt stop levers on my Yamaha 60hp FETO outboard have become - to use the technical phrase - sloppy!

Previously there seemed to be a firm direct connection between each lever on ether side, but now there's around 30 degrees of play between the two, so now when you put one side down to engage, you have to go to the other side and push that down too. Before you could just move one side and the opposite site would follow.

Have not had this assembly to bits before - any suggestions what the issue may be please?

If too much hassle for me I'll get it done when it goes in for a service, but still curious to know.

Many thanks

Steve
