tohatsu 50hp on zapcat

Hi there, thinking of buying a zapcat just wanted to know after capsizing in salt water if the engine would be ready to run again straight away?

If the cylinders have water in then you'll wreck it by trying to restart it.
Best to remove the plugs turn it over a few times to get the water out then try fire it.

Welcome to the forum.

You will need to get the water out of the fuel system too, they are easy to modify so you can re start after a capsize, Mercury tilt switches are good to as it will cut the engine out before it goes all the way over.
