Tohatsu 9.8 air/fuel idle settings

Good morning. Can anyone advise what are the correct screw settings for both the air fuel mix and idle on the carb for a 2005 9.8 2S motor please. I Had a few issues out on the water yesterday which resulted in me fettling with those 2 parts and consequently messing up its original settings and running like a bag of nails. The problem actually turned out to be the female connector not feeding in fuel when connected to the motor. Many thanks.

Start with the air/fuel one and three quarters turns out from lightly seated. Idle is done by ear I’m afraid. There no exact “settings” for either.

Many thanks mate. Air fuel was around 4+ turns out so massively flooding carbs with fuel. No wonder it wouldn’t run. Cheers.

To add to A1an suggestion, also check both in and out of gear. Make sure it doesn't stall when going into gear, nor idle to high out of gear or it will slam hard going into gear. Best to do adjustments in a larger tank or on the water.
