Tohatsu 9.8 HP 2 Stroke Outboard
Hi, I'm looking for a Tohatsu 9.8 HP 2 Stroke Outboard engine, a fairly new model if possible, Can anyone point me in the right direction? (forget ebay please). I'm willing to travel, within reason.

I have an 8hp Yamaha 2 stroke, 2006.
Thomas, the 8hp yamaha Sounds good. If possible I'm looking for excellent condition, visually and mechanically.
Can I have more details? ie pics condition and history.
Thanks.

I'm not complaining, as I'm pleased with the response i am getting, but why am I getting emails from Ribnet asking me to reply to Max, Clyde outboards and Bigmuz7. Is it because I started this thread? Have some wires got crossed?

You must have an option checked in your profile that 'subscribes' you to a thread .. thereby 'alerting' you every time there is a reply to it, the message isnt asking for a response from you .. just telling you someone replied to the thread to which you are subscribed
Quite handy if someone starts a really bolshy thread and you want to keep up to speed with the responses ... but its been a while since weve had one of them .. eh lads ?

I spent the past 4 months looking for one of these and many hours on google and lots of emails. I'm picking it up on strikeday Wednesday and I've requested to see this started from flat cold before I pay.
There is one on ebay presently. The sellers feedback isn't great but out of curiosity I contacted them and was emailed a copy of the service receipt from September 2011.
I also know where you can get a new one for around £ 1,800 via a loophole so this is legal.
