Tohatsu Control Box RH mount

Anybody mounted the Tohatsu control box on the RH side of a console?
I am being told that they only supply LH side fitting control boxes and that they are not reversible.
There isn't enough space on the top of the console for the top mount box (and its £300 odd) and I dont want to relocate the steering to the other side of the double wide console.
Anybody done a RH side mount?? (if you pardon the expression!)

What about a flush mount, as in the picture (top left), then have a seperate keyswitch and killcord etc ...

Yes, the same as the one in the bottom left of Jizm's pic.
It's easily reversible, as are all modern side mount remote control boxes.

You'll find that with most if not all control boxes.

All!

They pretty much all have the same mechanism inside anyway! (I used my Yam 703 lever on a borowed Tohatsu shell while I rebuilt the 703....)

I have seen people mount a stainless plate on the outside to make it look prettier.
