Tohatsu Impeller

I want to replace the Impeller on my Tohatsu tldi 90. All I can find on the case is MD90 A2 3T9 2002. Nothing in the handbook for part numbers, There are quite lots of impellers from eBay, Amazon to online chandlers , but one, they look different to each other some have brass inserts others are all rubberand the prices go from cheap up, obviously I don't want to replace it with a good quality part

Any ideas please for online purchase of the above please, I need online as I live out on the Hebrides.

Try clyde outboards in port Glasgow they're tohatsu dealers and I'd imagine they will post parts to you

Your local Tohatsu supplier is Gaelforce Marine in Inverness.

Buy genuine Tohatsu parts - they are very well made impellers. Pretty sure your impeller is the same as mine for a Tohatsu 2-stroke M60/70C (3B7-65021-2), no brass insert, it uses a stainless steel impeller key that locates on the drive shaft.

Thank you, I had not seen that parts list before, handy thing to have. I was in Gael-force last week, just coming out of lockdown the place had next to no stock on offer, as I only get to the mainland every couple of years I was a little disappointed.

I doubt they carry Tohatsu parts, everything has to be ordered and they carry a delivery surcharge which is fine if you're ordering a few things. That said, they're a local business and I've found them very helpful in the past.

I've keep my old impellers as back-ups. I'm on the west coast myself in two weeks, so know what it's like hunting for parts.

Just re-read that link on Ribshop I posted, sorry it's page 171 of 212. That's the trouble with multi-models on a single link! Part number 3C7-65021-1 for MD90.

I'd give the lads at Clyde Outboards at Port Glasgow a call . I've used them for a good few years for servicing & parts . They're very good.
