Yes and No. Apparently there are Problems, The Septics are reluctant to sell this type of hardware to Civvies, but still supplying Military - prolly why my little milkit dealer friends still have access to them. It's a situation that is spreading - may explain why you can't purchase them on the open market in the UK.
Anyway, I'll call 'em tomorrow, this being Ireland they may have a relaxed approach about a sale

My previous supplier stopped importing them as the shipping costs were prohibitive, nothing to do with restrictions on milkit hardware. They are only available to the military in the States due to the contamination risk. We should be ok here in the EU

You seem to be correct. I had a chat with them today - the man we need to talk to is away for a few days (sales trip ) I hope to get word next week, but there doesn't seem to be a problem, in theory anyway. They claim to be the only seller in Ireland/UK, and quite pleased with themselves too...
I suspect that volume is the issue here, but as I say, I'll play my own Pikey Card and see where it takes me.
For Sale: Olive Drab kit, explosive in the wrong hands. RIBnet buy, anyone?

We may have to make a slight detour, & meet with your contact when we do the Dublin trip. If the deal is successful, we could get them fully loaded & you could meet us on the quayside with them in the back of your Landy.

See right there at the "fully loaded" bit?
That was where the price just doubled
