Trying to get a dts power cable

I m just trying to reinstall my engine but the single core battery cable that powers the ecu on the verado is too short.

I'm looking for one at least 6m long as I've been told it's not wise to join them.

This is a single core black and a red cable with a 5amp inline fuse.

Can anyone help??

Thanks

Done properly, a join can be as good as the cable itself. A soldered connection with a couple of layers of adhesive heat shrink is pretty robust.
If not you can buy the cable from CPC, RS etc. Google them.
