unmounting heel on suzuki dt65

dear ribbers,
i am new to tinkering engines...
i am trying to unmount a heel of my dt65.
all bolts are loos and fine, but i dont know where/how to disconnect the gear shift rod so i can take off the heel.

where do i find the disconnection part.../is there a manual for these kind of questions?

thank you for your help,
jan

RIBase
It CAN be done with the carbs in place, but you need the fingers of a girl and if I remember correctly, a shortened 10mm spanner.

thank you nos4r2,
i will try to find some girls fingers and shorten my 10er.
it seems weird that this is the only way to disconnect the heel which seems an often needed operation to change /adjust the gearbox...

You need to slacken the nut that holds the crank arm to the hinge pin, which will allow the hinge pin to move laterally, thereby allowing the gearchange rod to disconnect from the opposite end of the hinge pin.
It's a bit of a fiddle, but not difficult.
