Very old Yamaha 3.5, can i get parts?

Hi new to the site and wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of somewhere that might be able to get hold of parts for a old late 70s/ early 80s ???? yamaha 3.5 outboard the pull start disconnected and while trying to get it back on, the internal cover plate, and spring fell in the sea, it also needs a new cir clip as i think the problem was cause by the one on it being the wrong size. any pionters to a parts diagram or even better someone who might supply them. thanks in advance

Most of the parts are still available from any Yamaha dealer. i think the 3.5 is on the parts diagram on the YPEC system but as a scanned PDF file, if not you may have to get them to resserect their ancient "microfiche system" to get part numbers. I ordered some parts for a Yamaha P250 outboard I restored this way which predates the 3.5 by some years
