Vintage Mercury 7.5hp Thunderbolt restoration

Picked up this old Mercury, no spark on either coil but compression of 165psi in both cylinders, I've not had time to look at it yet, I'm hoping it's the kill switch as on this model the switch breaks the ground not grounding the signal, if it's not that I guess it the stator or switch box, with that compression I guess it's worth saving, as the saying goes. . . They don't make them like this anymore! You gotta love the cam and gear throttle linkage set up that's never going to fail like a rusted and frayed cable! And the air vacuum fuel pump! This is going to be an interesting project if I keep it.
What do you reckon guys, restore it or sell it?

Well not good news, there is strong stark on both plugs, I cleaned the carb, jets fine however will only run with direct fuel in cylinders and a lot of pulls, internal reed valves I guess, not pulling the power head so advertised for spares or repair or she will be broke for spares.
