volvo penta 90

Hi
A guy down the road from me has a volvo penta 90 he is looking to sell
I'm still waiting to find a small inflatable but was wondering if this engine would be worth taking a chance on and if so what should I offer him ?
He said it was working fine the last time he started it but that was a couple of years ago so I would be taking a chance and by what I have found online it's difficult to get the parts for these now.
But are the Volvo's any good ? Reliable etc

RIBase
Go as far as a tenner-that's about the scrap value of it. It's ANCIENT. It'll devalue a rib if you put it on it...
