Want to upgrade to a stainless prop

Advice from any prop gurus reading the email track from the bottom ( don't know why it's that way round) want to go stainless what would be the way to go in your opinion 10x10 or 10 1/4 x 11 why I am asking is the 10x10 might reach the over rev limiter which I don't want but keen to reach max or near RPM because I am after crisp reponce to maintain planning speed.

so by my calcs and what i am lead to believe i would achieve around 5940 rpm assuming 200 rpm / inch on pitch & 100 rpm on dia 400 rpm/inch effect on performance would that be roughly where i would be ? Yes

one more question if i went 10 1/4 x 11 same as my ali prop at 5640 rpm how much performance wise in % would i be better off with the stainless steel prop roughly About 5% improvement however we do not currently have stock of the 11" pitch

regards

Comment: hi
i have a suzuki df 25 hp 2015 on an 3.65 m inflatable
i have two aluminum props
10 1/4 x 11 running at 5640 rpm @ 22 knots &
a 10 1/4 x 12 running at 5250 rpm @ 21.5 knots
max rpm for the engine is 6000 ideal rpm range 5000 - 6000
keen to get a stainless steel prop but get nearer the max rpm.
can you suggest a prop from your range please

regards jeff
