You were loaded then £3.80 to deliver the weekly observer to 2 miles of houses. It was back breaking wouldn't give you a trolley!

Used to earn £4 a week delivering the local free adds paper, my round had 163 houses and the papers were heavy. I lived 1 1/2 miles away from the houses. So it took several trips.
The bonus was if we had leaflets to deliver as well we got a few extra pence.
I saved up for months and bought a Sony personal cassette player and an aa battery charger from Argos. I then had enough left to pay for a few games of pool on holiday....

I buy second hand stuff and sell it on for profit, stuff like bikes and even pets. The first boat I bought was a little 4hp dinghy, got me out there fishing though

Oh yes, happy days indeed. I learned to be punctual when I was 14 coz the last one of us (12) paper boys to turn up each morning got the 15 storey block of flats. When the lift worked it stunk like an ol' folks home and when it didn't you were well and truly f@@ked.
Far easier to swing along the pavement on me uber-cool Raleigh Chopper for the sake of 10 minutes less in bed.

So true .. I have an 18 YO that has thrown his youth away, and is a gormless twat because of console obsession when he could have learned so much
Now drilling holes in consoles sounds good Xbox ones

Henry, (and others who might need similar assistance)
I live in south Manchester about half an hour away from Barrowboy. I also travel length and breadth of the country on business. Especially Southampton on a monthly basis. If you need something like this checking out or picking up in the future let me know. I can at least sit shotgun with Barrowboy if needbe.
