Water leak

Hi lads, I seem to have water dribbling out of a small hole in what looks like the cover for the thermostat? Can anyone say why this is happening. Thanks

There's a poppet valve in there. It's likely clogged up/corroded.

Ok thanks, I’ve ordered a replacement kit for it. Must admit I’ve not heard of this poppet thingy
