what dampers and spark plugs to use

hello

i am looking for some advice on dampers and spark plug.

i have a Yamaha 50 hp 2001 on a thundercat

the steering is very stiff so i what to get a new damper any ideas on what's the best etc. i do not have loads of cash so a mid range one would be good.

the next advice is on spark plugs should i just get basic ones or some NGK-BR8 HIX Iridium IX Spark Plugs. is there any different power, last ,performance efc

thanks again

I'm running the iridium plugs in a Yam 85. There's noticeably less low speed oiling. No extra power though.
