what difference will an inch make

Just had to fit a new prop to my Mariner efi 60hp on my 4.8M Ribcraft, i am pretty sure the prop that was on the engine was the original one.

It was marked 10 38 13P, so i assume its a 10 inch diameter and a 13 pitch.

The Solas prop finder recommended the Amita 3 which is 11.1 inch diameter and 13 pitch.

Mercury prop finder shows a variety of prop sizes 13 pitch but diameters of 10.3- 10.5 inch.

Will i notice much difference with the solas prop. Haven't had chance to test yet as its windy as hell here in SE Ireland,

from Mercury prop selector below

Black Max® Mercalloy 3 10.375 13 RH 73136A40
Black Max® Mercalloy 3 10.5 13 RH 816704A40

10 3/8 inch x 13 pitch I think you have what is your WOT RPM

1 inch dia is equal to 2 inch of pitch 1 inch of pitch equal to 150-200 RPM but can be as much as 400 RPM in certain cases although I've never expearianced it

Just had a quick look 5500 to 6000 RPM so your bang on with current prop the solas theoretically brings the revs down a bit may be a tad slower you might not notice is my guess
