What grade of oil ??

About to do an oil change on a Yamaha F100 A .Online manual says 10/30 or 10 /40. I have bought 10 /30 which looks way too thin, surely on a hot summers day and in an engine at 5800 rpm it will be like water, sould I use 10/40 instead ?, just wondered what others use in the UK.

RIBase
Doesn't matter if it's like water as long as it's slippery. The hot summers day won't make a lot of odds-your cooling is still coming from cold seawater and regulated by your thermostat
