What is this Yam Part?

Any ideas, I think it was used with a Yam 40 four stroke......

More importantly, can I sell it?

I think it's the reciever unit for key fob immobiliser or its the immobiliser unit itself.

The only document on the net said about it restricting the revs down to 2500 rpm so that must be a learner mode setting?

If afraid I know nothing about them really, I fitted a new Yam 40 to a pals boat and remember fitting a unit like that in the cuddy, he was bleeping away with a key fob, first time I had seen one.

Thats it, Y-Cop. I guess it would need to be recoded then to a new a new key fob? if that is possible....

It was bolted to the 4.7 that was sold off by a sailing club because the engine got nicked.

I didn't want to through it away if it was any use to someone?
