What mix?

Hello, recently purchased a Mariner 25hp 2 stroke, the guy said it was 25:1 mix yet everywhere online I’ve seen says 50:1.. can anyone tell me why mix you would use? Thanks.

It will either be 50:1 or perhaps 100:1 depending on model... but unlikely 25:1... that could just have been a running in mix when new??

It’s not new, was meant to upload an image of it with this post but it never actually uploads! Any tips..

Private use 50:1 commercial use 100:1. Hence many of us go 75:1!
