What's the best prop ...

What would be the best prop for a 70 hp Evinrude 2 stroke fitted on my Osprey Eagle ? I use my boat for fishing and towing a ringo. Thanks. Mark

The prop blades that I had on were 13 x 21`B, I have just bought three new blades which are 13 x 19B and fitted them to the hub. So I guess I will have to find out myself the next time I take my boat out if my choice was a good one. Thank you. Mark

Mark,

Are you using a Pirahna prop? I think normal rules of thumb may not work too well with these plastic props.

To get good prop advice here you need to tell people what you are using, (pitch, diam, material), what RPM you get, what speed you get and what you are hoping for (e.g. faster top speed, quicker to get on the plane etc).
