Which control cables and general advice Evinrude 70

I have an old Evinrude 70Hp engine and OMC control unit. The cable throws look reasonably similar and the cable ends in the control box look like one end of cables advertised on ebay for Evinrude. Do you think these cables will fit? (see attached pics)

I need a steering link bar. Should I buy 271553308283, hope one fits and sell the spare ones, or is this general purpose, fits anything one a better bet? ebay 360768527188

Does anyone have, or know where I can get at a reasonable price, a manual for the engine?

I've got a 1993 Johnson with that type of control box and cables, the motor attachments look the same as mine.

Excellent. The cable clamp appears to be missing on my engine. Do you think you could take a picture of yours some time so that I can see what it should look like?

Your one has different cable holders but they are similar and look to me like they will work with the same cables.
