I would save a bit of money and get a longer warranty and buy a Honda

Just wondered, as Honda in the US, for example, offer a 5 year warranty, so thought it might be different in South Africa as well.

lol no its still being used. there are lots of mines in the water over there and there is a team of v brave souls looking for them in small fishing boats.
