Not surprising really, they were under an onslaught from the rest of the 4stroke centric industry.
I wish I still had mine.....

Never owned one so no first hand experience - however you do see mixed reviews regarding reliability & ongoing faults

I’m guessing there’s a massive inventory of stock & parts kicking around in depots across the world.

Dont they have a duty to keep spares available for a specified period? Something like 10 years springs to mind.
That said I'd hate to be a dealer sitting with a large stock of engines as I'd imagine their sale value just took a nose dive.

I really liked the look of those engines, its a shame, I wonder how it might effect used sales of boats with these engines, will it make people avoid buying on the used market boats with these on, maybe some bargains coming up in the future.

Love my 2008 250HO. Pushes my 8.1m rib to 70mph.

Had an injector fault after water in fuel and a water pressure issue which was just a water pump. Otherwise great and great forum support for faults.

"We will continue to supply customers and our dealer network service parts"

Filters, pump impellers and gearbox oil ...? not replacement parts...?

....."plus offer select programs to manage inventory."..

Translated....Parts will be rationed and unless you buy an extended warranty
you can whistle for them.....

Maybe I'm just a cynic.
