yamaha 140hp v4 spark plugs

Dear friends,

I want to aquire some info or if its going to be of any improvement in performance if I install a set of new TRIPPLE FIRE spark plugs on my yamaha 140Hp v4 engine 2 stroke instead of the standard NGK single fire plugs.

Thanks.

Yamaha140.

No.

You may see an improvement in oiling up at long periods at low revs if you fit the correct iridium plugs though. I did.

Misfiring and poor throttle response from tickover the first time you open the throttle after a long periond at tickover.

Any other improvements by fitting the I plugs as I have an old coal burner Mariner 150 V6 and suffer from oiling at low revs.
Cheers

If the manufacturer could use a plug that would generate more power or better fuel economy they would. Stick with the plug that the manufacturer recommends.

Can't speak for your V6 Merc, every engine's different but it improved it on my Yam.

Tx for that but was there any more worthwhile improvements or was it just start up. I am willing to try them if there are multi benefits.
Has anyone else tried them?
