Yamaha 60, 80 or 90

Looking at upgrading - weight key factor - current 40 very balanced - worried about extra fuel consumption of larger engines - any difference between 60 and 80 four stroke?
Thanks in advance for views

Yup, would like to continue with four stroke, having been stunk out by a 2 stroke the other day! (Left myself open for some flak there!! )

Never smelt the exhaust from my 2 Stroke,I just keep going faster than prevailing winds and stinking out those behind.

Just get an Evinrude E-tec 90 direct injection 2-stroke - all the advantages of a 4-stroke but better power to weight ratio, no stink, great styling and better acceleration. Oh, and they sound great too

Just got myself a Suzzy 90 on my new 6m rib. Very impressed . Ultra smooth and quiet and hardly seems to drink any more than my carburettored Honda 50 does on a 19ft Orkney fishing boat. It is bloody heavy though, the Suz is twice the weight of the Honda.
