Yamaha 9.9 (2009) steering creak - need help

When getting the engine ready there is a pronounced creak from the steering.

Have disconnected the teleflex and all is fine and runs freely.

Tried to grease the steering and grease is coming out of the top of the shaft so appears to be ok.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be before its going into the dealer. Is there another greasing point or is it a more serious issue
