Yamaha 90A prime start issue...

Help!! My Yamaha 2 stroke 90Aeto has been an absolute beggar to get started recently, just been doing a carb clean and rebuild and it seems the electrothermal valve (prime start) is meant to have 2.3 to 3.5 ohms of resistance but looks like it's open circuit from my multimeter.

Wherever I've seen them mentioned they're usually trouble free but I think mine may be goosed.

Cost of buying a new one is over 160 USD so if anyone has one they'd be willing to part with in the UK that would be handy.

Advice welcome!

Have you connected it across a 12 volt battery to see if it expands?

A new one is £120 + vat

I have a used one which I have just tried for £50
