Yamaha F150 power increase/modification

I have a Yamaha F150 2007 and have been considering an upgrade to a new F200, either Yamaha or Suzuki.

Surprised at how little I am being offered PX and that got me thinking- I believe Yamaha and others make a range of power outputs from the same block, is it possible to modify mine to c175 or more, rather than buy new?

hp is measured at high rpms.

a lot of it is just 'marketing'

I've used twin 115s and 130s and 135s and 150s ... hard to tell the difference between any of them, they are all on the same block

RIBase
On 'old school' 2-strokes it's possible to upgrade as usually increased exhaust manifold and different carbs, but modern fuel injected 4-strokes with on-board CPU is a different ball game.

Your best bet is to sell privately rather than trade in. I'd have thought there was still demand for used F150 with diagnostics print out to verify history.

That said I'm sure a new F200 ain't cheap.
