Yamaha Fuel Gauges

I have purchased two brand new ribs from Ribeye, both have had problems with the Yamaha outboard fuel gauges eg. they fail to read the correct level. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

yes we have had the same prob are yours on the all in one gauges. i was doing some work to the boat and found the sender very badly eaten away. so remove it and have to find out who it was made by lucky was workin on a boat that day. saw the same sender in there tanks. so got on to the people who make then and thay made me up a new one 4 38quid not to bad reli. are problem was it whent the rong way so full was empity and empity was full and we had about 40lts of fuel in the tank when it said empity.i was talkin to the man who made me the sender on the phone n just told him the prob n he told me how to sort it. because the sender is usa and the gauge is set to europ or yam. it reads backwards. so told me how to reset this. have not tryed it yet as i only put it all back in to day.

if you need any more help on them have had the fuel system out so now how it all go's and numbers to ring and where to get senders and gauge seting.
