Yamaha Malta rebuild

I have just finished putting together a Yamaha Malta that I accumulated in bits along the way. I have to say it has been a most rewarding experience and it runs as sweet as a nut. I will be testing it out on my Sportyak tender this weekend. I haven't messed around with a pull start outboard since the late 60's and can't believe how easily this starts. I can see why they are sort after.

I have one of these as an aux on my RIB, its a great little OB and mine also runs very smoothly, starts easily and seems to run for ever on its inbuilt tank. No sure how old it is but it is in bril nick as I bought it from someone who mainly ran it in fresh water.

I have only ever done basic maintenance on it, like plugs, impellor, gearbox oil etc.
