Yamaha/Mariner coil choice?

Hi ALL.
To be honest not sure quite how to word this but here goes;

I have a mid 80s 2st Yamaha Mariner 25hp with points ignition, model 25c 695.

Are there any aftermarket secondary coils that anybody knows of that will fit, or any coils off another HP range, surely each model/HP does not have its own spec coil or does it?

Anyone following another thread will know why I am asking

Thanks in advance

so far as i understand while being my crash course in to these coils
the last non cdi coil i can find is the cm61-25 but also just to confuse it even more they done a cm61-25 as a cdi
also there is a cm61-24 and cm61-23 both the same but sold as top and bottom coil
appart from that i was told that there is one of a volvo penta that works but is even harder to find again
definatly if i can sourse some more i could become rich

Very good (but potentially worrying) information, thanks for taking the time to respond.
Looks like I will be keeping hold of my spare flywheel, primary coil, points, condensors, probably never need them but sods law and all that
If I do come accross a source for them or an alternative then I will let you know

The best people to answer this, is either a merc or mar dealer, if i was looking for the information I would find the p/n and then using the EPC I would look and see what other models that p/n was fitted to.

Below are 2 photos of my coils, and this is why I am asking the question as one coil has nothing on it no numbers etc. so I was thinking that there might be an aftermarket supplier.

seems to be the internals are a bit more wide spread also used on honda - suzuki - mariner - yamaha most of the exciter coils are the same
points are interchangable with different models and fairly easy as the condensers
charging - lighting coils are very inter changable as well it mainly seams to be the ht coils

Thanks the engine was like that when I bought it arround May last year, I spotted it on Ebay on an old Humber inflatable that was for sale no mention in the add about the engine being included anyway long story short I contacted the seller as there had not been any interest on it and bought the lot for £375.00 The sib is in fantastic condition for its age early 80s and the engine the engine is a corker
I had a couple of threads running at the time on here with information and minor refurb pics, if interested do a search for them (i dont know how to link them) ..
