Hi and welcome to Ribnet.

Maybe you can get one by casting a wider net. I got the info below from another forum, probably where there are more members able to help. Hope the search goes well.

"That engine is based on the 4.2l Toyota Landcruiser engine, which I believe Yamaha actually build for Toyota. Yanmar also use basically the same engine, as does Nanni I think. From memory the early versions were ~240 or 250hp, whilst the later versions are around 320hp. Yanmar and Nanni have both mated this engine to Bravo drives, so an X series Bravo should be doable with some parts from one of those companies if needed."

The engine is based on the toyota landcruiser engine which yanmar and nanni both use too but the similarity stops there they all use different marinising parts turbos & pistons etc.
The exhaust elbow may still be available from yamaha as they still make some parts for them any Yamaha marine dealer should be able to check stock for you.
Several companies produced copies which may be an option I think hdi in the us do a lot of yanmar ones & might do the Yamaha ones but some smaller fab shops did do them too. Iirc trickett marine used to advertise them.
The other folk to try would be paul at BBMS in swanwick or even redbay boats in Ireland who supply a fair few spares to support their rib customers.
