Yamaha ME 421 STI

Anyone any idea what a complete Yamaha MT 421 STI is worth.

Depends on hours & condition I had 10 ex military 420/421s about 18 months ago & sold the better ones @ 4k & the not so good ones 2.5-3k
They were engines only not complete packages probably add a couple of ks if they come with complete drives

Thanks . Engine is a hundred percent and is mated to yamaha sterndrive which appears to be in mint condition. Its a pac 22 with tubes damaged beyond repair.Was looking at the feasability of breaking.

Given the price of a new engine I would say around 8k if it has absolutely everything and plug and play.

worth taking the time to remove it nicely. also take a video before you remove it.

What hours are on it will also effect the value.

Best idea in that case is advertise it for an inflated price & see what happens stuff is on fire just now so no better time to test the water. Don't remove it till you have a good deposit or payment. Engines look tons better being sold in a boat & can be demonstrated to buyers. Once removed the drives etc tend to look like a pile of old scrap
