yamaha serial number
We have a 30hp yam 4 stroke, but I'm not sure of the year. I believe it's possible to discover this from the serial number but how do you decode this?

Beware that a lot of online guides apply to US Market engines and will not be correct for the UK. If in doubt ring one of the big online yam spares dealers who can check the correct database.
