yamaha tilt sender

hi the trim tilt gauge for my Yamaha 130 v4 reads full all the time .I have tried spraying the sender with wd40 and manually moving it through its rotation but still get no change at the gauge. the only movement I can get is when I unplug one of the wires and the gauge slowly starts to drop so I'm assuming the sender is shot has anyone got one they would sell or can anyone point me in a direction to get one in the uk (loads on ebay usa).or is there something else to test before I buy a new one

Hi trim sender works on resistance check with a ohmmeter if you look on here there's loads of free workshop manuals to down load it will give you the correct resistance I would check that as it as it's likely it's the gauge was on mine
