Yammy F115 - constant fault codes!

Every time I seem to go out on my boat I seem to have a different fault code flashing on my remotes!

Last time out it was engine over cooling, the time before that was engine oil (which cleared after I changed it) & today is a "shift position switch".

It seems I get a code pretty much every time out - anyone else had this, or have any suggestions?

My F115 has only given a fault when kelp clogs the water intake. Don't think I've ever had a different fault cause a problem.

Mine is a pre-command-link motor (2005), so no real fault codes without hooking up to a computer (at least as far as I'm aware.) But the kelp-caused overheat is a no-brainer.

Hope you get things sorted out.

Mine is a 2003 so older than yours but the engine symbol on the console gauges flashes a sequence to give the codes.

The engine has a strong tell-tale so no worries there.

I may have to indulge in a service I think!

Command approval from the missus to go out tomorrow - so I'll keep an eye on the engine while we're out.
