Yanmar 6LP blip

Hi all, just looking for anyone with any ideas or similar experience. Today traveling from Portavadie to Largs on the last leg of the journey it seemed that the engine was down on power slightly, a noticeable 3knots slower at 2500rpm. After a couple of mins I went into neutral and checked the engine bay for any signs of fault, particularly a drive coupler on the way out ect but no signs of problems. Then back into gear and everything seemed OK. The trip as a whole was slow, usualy takes us 1.5h but took 4 due to rough weather, so had been taking it easy the grand majority of the way. The engine is a 315hp on a bravo 2 x drive. I'll be checking the prop hub in the next couple of days, possibly tomorrow. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, going dead in the water in today's conditions may not have ended well!

Cheers

Hi ken, hope all is well with yourself. What do you think the best course of action? Would this give out in the water resulting in no drive?

Ps, apologies for not getting back on the power cable, is this something you still need looked at?

Cheers
