Zapcat/thundercat prop wanted!

I'm looking for a new or used propeller for my thundercat. Currently running a 15p power tech but it's too worn now so looking to replace it.

Looking for something with a slightly higher pitch to give better top end speed.

This is my current one...

Why not just send your prop to Steel Developments? They will tidy it up and re pitch it as well if you want, fraction the cost of a new one.

Had a chat with someone who did some work for power tech. He measured it up and it's lost 4mm of it's blade size & would cost around £130 to get sorted an still wouldn't be like new

Luke..how about a drive to see steel dev and show it to them. They have a very good rep and are as close as you can sensibly get..... Cheaper than a new one and will be as good as new....

I'll weigh up my options. Getting a quote from darglow for some new props

What do people think of Ron hill and signiture props? I know Ron hill need to be worked before any good but I can get one for £180 then worked for £60 so works out cheaper.

I have also found a 16p signiture for similar price but don't know anything about these.

It's hit and miss with rons props. Some folk get one with more than 2" pitch difference between blades. Most of the time his props have more pitch than advertised. Some have different diameters between the blades too...
In saying that some folk get one that works well out of the box.

I'd go 18p cleaver

Steel Developments are £38 for an ali or £62 for Stainless. (+ a couple of quid for re pitch)

I have had probably 30+ (You got to love Windermere ! )props done by them over the years and everyone has come back like new.

Trouble is it's difficult to work because the blades have been thinned which makes it near impossible to build It back upto it's original state. Waiting to get in contact with the marines team who apparently may have some or sale

Yep, 2" either way for the repitch, cost about £10 extra last time I had it done. Sorry, dont know about cupping, never needed to do it. Give them a ring, the lady who answers the phone knows pretty much everything their is to know about props.

If you want to cup an alloy prop just put it on a tow ball and gently beat it around. £0
