7.2Ah 12v LiFePO4 Battery £25.75

I mentioned this in someones thread a couple of weeks ago as it struck me as a bit of a bargain at £29.99.
Well on Amazon its now £27.99 and with an 8% voucher available it drops to £25.75 delivered next day for those with Prime.

I originally bought one for the fishfinder box at under 2lb in weight its ideal.
Watching prices in the last few weeks start to climb across all manner of consumables with Shipping (containers) from China being to blame, I decided to treat my Bravo pump bag to one as well. So much lighter than the normal 7Ah alarm battery and only around £8 more than the cost of one now.

So thats it, todays bargain, no I dont have shares in the makers or Amazon

Tempting. I wonder if I could get away with using my CTEK XS 7000 SLA charger? Some sources online suggest that it should be OK, others not. If I could, it would be even more tempting.

I wondered if the charger needed to be special.... and in truth I'm holding back as recent funds have gone on my glue habit.

I’m “fairly sure” my charger is suitable. It’s a smart charger.
The current lead acid batteries have been hammered a bit, so have taken a chance. I will check before use, to be sure

If I’ve got it wrong, I may come unstuck, in which case your glue habit could be of help to me!

Fenlander, your caution about the charger was valid. My all singing and dancing “smart” charger does not appear to be suitable
For Lithium, due to charging cycle.
There does seem to be some conflicting opinions on this, but don’t want to risk either battery or charger, so have acquired a small charger which is suitable. I’m still happy with purchase, though, as
Both uses for my batteries tend to drain them, so I hope Lithium will cope with this use better.
